Best Travel Luggage – What is the best for you?
What is the best travel luggage? This has been asked by a lot of people in recent years, either by frequent flyers or those who will be traveling for the first time in their lives. This article gives the factors you will need to consider in choosing which baggage to get in order for you to get the best travel luggage that’s just right.
The things that you will need to consider so you can get the best travel luggage are:
Wheels or not.
Luggage on wheels is now more common than those don’t have wheels. If you are considering getting travel luggage on wheels, you have two options to choose from: two-wheelers or four-wheelers. Four-wheelers carry all of the weight of the bag, while two wheelers share the load between the wheels and the user (via the handle). Do note that the two-wheeled travel luggage is your best bet if you’re going to be bringing the luggage in areas with uneven surfaces, owing to their greater stability.
Weight.
Weight is another important factor that you will need to take into consideration when choosing the best travel luggage for you. Not only will weight determine the ease of transporting the baggage, it can also determine just how many things you can put in the bag to begin with. Remember that most airlines have a weight limit for the luggage people bring, so make sure that you get something lighter.
Size.
There are two things that will determine what size luggage you will need: your needs and the requirements of the airline you’ll be using. If you’re not planning to stay away from home long, a travel hand luggage will be best for you. However, if your travel plans are meant for a longer period, make sure that you get a large enough luggage to store all of your stuff in. Of course, you will also need to make sure that the size fits the requirements set by the airlines that you’re planning on using. For example, a lot of airlines allow 22 carry on luggage to be put in the overhead bin or under the seat. However, there are those that require something smaller, so make sure that you are aware of the rules of the airline before purchasing your luggage.
Materials used.
It’s not just a question of choosing between soft cases or hard cases; you will also need to make sure that the materials used to make the luggage are good enough in order to withstand the rigors of travel, particularly since the baggage can be tossed around during transport. The best travel luggage is the one that uses state-of-the-art materials without compromising the weight and size of the luggage.
Features.
Next, you will also want to check the features of the baggage. A small luggage will usually have an organizer, that is, have pockets where you can put smaller stuff in to keep your belongings organized. Locks are also important features that you will want to check (make sure that the lock you get is TSA-approved to comply with airline regulations). Do check the features of the luggage to make sure that you are getting the baggage that you want and need.
Appearance.
Finally, do consider the appearance of the luggage you’ll be getting. Not only will the appearance of the baggage suit your tastes, it can also determine just how easy it will be to spot your luggage amongst others on the conveyor belts in airports. If you’re into cutesy things, you can always go for a Hello Kitty bag. However, if your tastes are more along classic lines and looks, you can get a Fossil baggage.
Consider the following factors to make sure that you get the best travel luggage for you.
